A few weeks ago I was privy to a very intimate wedding. It was really special. I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings over the past 17 years, but this was a first for me. I met Lisa and Ben around midday at their house as they were in the midst of getting ready for their big day. The weather was miserable; it was wet, windy and cold. But because of the weather the park they’d chosen to marry in was deserted. So without a single person in sight and under the shelter of an ancient fig tree, Lisa and Ben made their life-long promises to each other. We all stood shivering on the cold, wet day…the bride, the groom, the celebrant and me!
Afterwards it was off to Teneriffe…the place their romance began.
Congratulations Lisa and Ben! May this be the beginning of a life filled with laughter, adventures, happiness and most of all…LOVE.
Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your day,
