Newborn Photographer North Brisbane

Last week a very special family came to visit me in my studio for a newborn session. Corinne and Ben were nominated for an Earthside gift session by Corinne’s lifelong friend Amber. Amber thought this couple were in need some kindness after enduring a devastating couple of years. I hadn’t spoken to Corinne and Ben before the shoot so we spent a fair amount of time chatting during the session while I, of course got my fix of baby cuddles! Corinne and Ben are such a lovely, caring couple and I must say, I feel truly privileged that they shared their story with me and I would like to thank them for kindly allowing me to share some of their journey with you now.
The path to parenthood has been a tumultuous one for Corinne and Ben. In 2013 Corinne and Ben were thrilled to discover they were pregnant and expecting a son, yet sadly in July that year their little boy Angus was born sleeping. They fell pregnant again in 2014 only to suffer more heartache when the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
The idea behind this gift session was to help Corinne and Ben celebrate the arrival of their ‘rainbow baby’ but also to acknowledge their son Angus in the session. With this in mind Corinne and Ben brought Angus’ very special teddy bear to the session and as a result, Ruby’s big brother features in quite a few of her newborn photos.
So welcome to the world Ruby. It was a delight and a pleasure spending the day with you and your Mummy and Daddy. With such beautiful, doting parents and your big brother Angus looking over you, I think you will be truly blessed xoxo
Much love,
Alison
