Ocean View wedding photographer

Oceanview wedding photographer…

When I met Katie and Myles it was obvious they were meant for each other. You could tell by the way they looked at each other, their smiles, their laughs…the ease in which they enjoyed each other’s company.
Myles comes from a background of farming and his family grew up in the country. So naturally this love of the country has been passed down to Myles and now, to Katie.
Our first photography shoot was their engagement shoot. I made the drive out to their beautiful property in Moorina to find a photographer’s heaven! We spent the afternoon traipsing around the property, climbing up hills and trekking through long grass surrounded by cows.

When their wedding day arrived, it was natural that the setting would be just as beautiful. Katie and Myles chose Oceanview Estates, a spectacular venue nestled in mountains, surrounded by cattle and of course the vineyards. It was here, overlooking the dam that Katie and Myles became husband and wife.
We could not have wished for a more perfect day. Crystal blue skies, fluffy white clouds and the most gorgeous golden light hit us around 4pm. I’m so grateful to Katie and Myles for being such willing and eager participants to any ideas I threw at them.  A huge thank you to their fabulous bridal party for helping to make the afternoon such fun as we trekked up the hillside to capture the ‘golden hour’. And of course for looking after their photographer with a glass of champagne during our shoot.

A few shout outs must go to the fabulous Oceanview Estates for always providing a spectacular backdrop and some pretty amazing wine 🙂

Stunning hair and makeup by the extremely talented Sam from Afterfive makeup, Hair and Beauty.

So congratulations Katie and Myles, my newest newlyweds! I thank you for trusting me with your memories and allowing me to be a part of your wedding day.

Cheers,

Alison
