A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to photograph Mel and Brad’s wedding at Boomerang Farm in the glorious Gold Coast hinterland. After a chilled-out morning of wedding preparations, we all headed off to Boomerang Farm which is an awesome spot for weddings! It offers amazing backdrops for wedding photos such as rustic barns, creeks, rainforests and green lawns. It has everything!

Mel and her bridesmaids arrived in vintage style in a kombi from Forever Kombis before exchanging promises in front of family, friends and their super-cute son Landon. Hitched at the Boomerang Farm has so many gorgeous spots for wedding photos, we ran out of time before we ran out of shots! But, it was a fabulous afternoon with lots of laughs. And later that night they all celebrated with pizza, drinks and dancing the night away!

Where is Boomerang Farm

Boomerang Farm is a golf course, as well as a fabulous venue for weddings! It’s located in Mudgeeraba in the middle of the gorgeous Gold Coast Hinterland.

The property started life as a dairy farm and in 1994 it was turned into a golf course and wedding venue. The rustic barn was built in 1902 and is the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. It also makes a fantastic venue for weddings.

Getting There

Boomerang Farm is just 20 minute drive from the Gold Coast at 55 Johns Road, Mudgeeraba, Queensland, Australia. Look for the sign!
