I’m often asked what my favourite Canungra wedding venues are and the truth is, I have many favourites! However, as a lover of camping and getting back to nature, I love Canungra showgrounds for a DIY wedding venue. This location may not suit everyone, however if you’re on a budget, enjoy DIY, camping and the outdoors, then this may be the perfect venue for you. You can exchange your vows by the creek, surrounded by nature and solitude (as long as you don’t go in school holidays!). Albert River Wines for your Canungra Wedding
However if a DIY wedding location isn’t your style, perhaps check out Albert River Wines for your wedding day. Just a short 11 minute drive from Canungra, Albert River Wines offers four locations for your wedding ceremony and you can have your reception on site too. Set in the Gold Coast hinterland, there are no shortage of stunning backdrops for your wedding photography here. And it’s a winery which means there’s no shortage of wine!
