Maternity Portraits – Brisbane Photographer
Are you thinking of having some Brisbane maternity portraits taken to document your pregnancy? Maternity portrait are a wonderful way to remember your pregnancy. Although, it’s like you would forget is it? However, while many women do not feel attractive throughout their pregnancy, having a maternity shoot is something that is always looked back on with fondness. Because those 9 months you’re pregnant really are the most miraculous and beautiful months of your life.
When To Book
Because your baby can arrive any time after 37 weeks (sometimes earlier if your little one can’t wait), the best time to have your maternity shoot is around the 34 weeks mark. These sessions are held in my studio in Lawnton, just 26km north of Brisbane CBD. Or, if you prefer nature, we can venture outside for a more natural setting. The choice is yours! The sessions last for 1 hour and are $125 with prints and products available for purchase. You can check out some of my beautiful product range here. And, if you book a newborn session with me too, you’ll receive a $125 credit to spend on products for your maternity session.
Newborn Sessions
The best time for a newborn session is within the first 2 weeks of your baby’s arrival. This is because your baby is sleepiest during these first few weeks, which makes it easier to get those sleepy poses. Newborn sessions are held in my studio and last around 3 hours. You can read more about my newborn sessions here and view some gorgeous baby photos here.
Elisha visited my north Brisbane studio for a photoshoot of her lovely old dog Indi. As a crazy dog person I couldn’t resist doing a sneaky little maternity shoot with Indi. This is the lovely Elisha and Indi just 3 days before her little girl arrived.
