The Brisbane Registry Office has become popular for weddings since its relocation to Ann Street in Brisbane’s CBD.
You’ll find the Brisbane Registry Office on level 32 of 180 Ann Street, Brisbane.
The Registry Office has two stylish, architecturally designed wedding ceremony rooms which can accommodate 70 guests and offers stunning panoramic views of the city.
The Brisbane Registry Office is perfect for elopements or if you’re having a small and intimate family wedding.
Wedding Photo Opportunities
There are so many opportunities for beautiful wedding photographs in and around the Brisbane Registry Office.
The Registry Office is conveniently located within walking distance to Roma Street parklands making it an easy walk for those wanting wedding photos in some of Brisbane’s finest gardens.
And if you’re after more nearby locations for wedding photos there is the beautiful and historic Albert Street Church which makes a stunning backdrop for photos.
And of course, there are lots of funky buildings, restaurants, hotels and bars located near the Brisbane Registry Office for couples who love some urban grunge wedding photos.
Where to Park for the Brisbane Registry Office
If you’re attending a wedding at the Brisbane Registry Office, it’s best to organise your car parking. After all, you don’t want to be late to a wedding because you couldn’t find a park.
Car Parks
- King George Square Car Park: Situated at the corner of Ann and Roma Streets, this car park has weekday rates starting from $28 for early bird parking (entry before 7am and exit between 1pm and 6pm). Evening parking (entry after 4pm and exit before 5:30am the next day) is available for $10 for up to 4 hours.
- Wickham Terrace Car Park: Located at 136 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, this car park provides early bird parking at $26 (entry between 5:30am and 9am, exit between 1pm and 7pm). Evening parking (entry after 4pm and exit before 5:30am the next day) is a flat rate of $6.
- Post Office Square Car Park: This car park is operated by Secure Parking and is at 223-235 Adelaide Street.
- Turbo St Secure Parking: Located at 179 Turbot Street, a short walk from the registry.
Be sure to check out the Secure Parking website for locations and parking rates.
These car parks are all within walking distance to the Brisbane Registry Office. It’s best to check out the pricing online before the day. And car parking is usually cheaper when you buy online.
For those not keen on driving to the city, take the train! Central Station is just a 3-minute walk away.
