Family Photography in north Brisbane
The one that almost didn’t make the cut. It was getting late and our family photography in north Brisbane shoot was done. The light was disappearing fast and it had suddenly turned cold. The kids, understandably, were all photographed out. The little ones were freezing and it was at that moment Claire picked up her youngest boy and gave him a cuddle for warmth. I almost missed it. This perfect yet insignificant moment that happens every day in a child’s world. That magic cuddle from a parent that heals all ailments and makes everything right in their little world again. And I nearly missed it.
And it’s not perfect. The focus is off and there’s a bit of motion blur but I just couldn’t bring myself to bin it.
Because sometimes “perfection” isn’t always about a technically correct image. Sometimes it’s about capturing a perfect moment; soft focus, blur and all.
