Gold Coast Wedding photographer – How to Choose the Perfect One?
It’s tough! There are so many wedding photographers out there and one of the big ticket items is finding the wedding photographer. And not just ANY photographer. You want a professional who will help make your day AMAZING! Someone to help your day run like clockwork and have a few laughs with along the way.
Well…you found me! *waves hand* I am your Gold Coast wedding photographer! And although I’m a based in Brisbane, I LOVE traveling around for weddings. I’ve ventured many times to the Gold Coast and there are no shortage of fabulous venues there. One of my many favourite locations for weddings is Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. It features strongly in my top 10.
Dani & Matt were married at the gorgeous chapel at Intercontinental Resort Sanctuary Cove.
This stunning chapel has the most amazing available light and is a photographers dream. And the acoustics are pretty impressive too! And after the ceremony you can wander around the grounds of the Intercontinental Resort which offers a variety of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photography.
Or you can go for a short walk down to the harbour to get some timeless wedding photos down by the water.
Gold Coast Hinterland
If wedding photography near the harbour isn’t for you, check out the amazing grounds of Boomerang Farm!
Just a short drive away in Mudgeeraba, Boomerang Farm started out as a dairy farm before it became a tourist attraction. And people would visit to throw boomerangs! How cool is that? In 1994 it was turned into a golf course and today is a backdrop for many events and weddings. One of the favourite locations for wedding photography is the rustic barn clubhouse, built in 1902. And because it is a golf course, the grounds are always lush and green. You cannot go wrong with a wedding here!
If you’re more of a free spirit and after a more casual and relaxed wedding, why not check out the Gold Coast beaches? There are endless opportunities for wedding locations from Broadbeach to Coolangatta!
Coolangatta is the southernmost suburb of the Gold Coast. Fun fact…it is named after Coolangatta, the schooner wrecked in 1846.
And it is also home to Elephant Rock which makes for a spectacular location for wedding photography. You can even climb the stairs to the top and take in the spectacular views from Surfers Paradise and to Coolangatta. And with a bit of clever photoshopping, you can have a wedding photo like this!
If you’re getting married in a venue or a park or at the beach, just make sure you choose a wedding photographer with experience. Because there are so many variables on your wedding day, it’s so important to choose an experienced wedding photographer. A professional wedding photographer will help your day run smoothy.
And if you’re looking for a photographer who knows their stuff, and has photographed over 600 weddings in her career, I’m your photographer! So drop me a line here.
