Photos of parents and their baby. I LOVE taking them. Because honestly, these photos are the easiest ones to take! Because despite the sleep deprivation, the disrupted routine and the fact you may not have showered in days, new parents are blissfully happy.
I mean, all I have to say is, “Look at the beautiful little baby you made”. And the rest just comes naturally. The smiles, the joy and happiness are there. And all I have to do is capture it <3
Kellie and Justin were the typical besotted parents when they brought their baby girl Elodi into the studio for her newborn photos. And just look at what a gorgeous little family they are!
When To Book Your Newborn Photographer
The best time to book your newborn photographer is while you’re pregnant. Because once that gorgeous baby arrives, you’ll be so busy and love-struck to worry about much else. However, being a newborn and family photographer I’m flexible! I often have a spare day here and there so don’t panic if you’ve left it until the last minute. I always manage to find some time because honestly, baby cuddles are great therapy! Just like dog cuddles (if you read my blog about being a dog-crazy person you’ll understand. The Best Time For Your Newborn Session
The best time to photograph your newborn is within the first 2 weeks of your bub’s arrival. This is because your baby is sleepiest in those first few weeks. So, it’s much easier for your newborn photographer to capture those cute, squishy poses. And it’s also when your baby is the smallest they’ll ever be! And babies are like weeds right? They’re literally growing by the second! And booking a newborn photographer to capture just how little your baby once was is a precious keepsake for your family.
